Cinco de Mayo is coming up this Sunday.  No, it's not Mexican Independence Day - that's September 16th.  Cinco de Mayo actually celebrates a symbolic Mexican win against the French at the Battle of Pueblo.  We recently learned that it was a Texas-born general - Ignacio Zaragosa - who lead the Mexican military to this crucial victory.  Don't Mess With Texas!  Learn more about the history of Cinco de Mayo HERE

Did You Know?

The Texas Renaissance Festival will celebrate its 50th anniversary this year! Tickets went on sale back on April 15th for the fest that runs from October 12th - December 1st.  Organizers are expecting over 500,000 visitors to this year's festivities!
